The Ultimate Honeymoon Packing Checklist for Couples
hen it comes time to prep for your honeymoon, figuring out what to pack can be a struggle. You'll want to be ready for every picture-perfect moment without having to drag giant suitcases with you everywhere. That’s why we’ve pulled together the end-all-be-all packing list for a one-week excursion. Add on for additional days, take away for less, and head into your trip knowing you’ve packed everything you need for the experience of a lifetime.
What to Pack in Your Carry-On Luggage
Make sure your essentials are in your carry-on so that they are easily accessible (and to be safe in the event your luggage happens to get lost). If it’s not on this list, you have the green light to pack it in your checked luggage.
- Passport/driver’s license
- Credit cards (make sure to inform your bank of your travel plans!)
- Cash
- 1 paper copy of all travel documents (see the “essentials” list below)
- Prescription medications
- Basic toiletries (face wash, toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant)
- At least one change of clothes
- Cell phone and charger (and adaptor if leaving the country)
- E-reader and charger (or books and magazines)

Here's everything you absolutely can’t get by without bringing. As for paper copies of documents: Always keep one of the copies on you (in your carry-on, pocket, purse, etc), and one in your checked luggage/in the hotel. This is an extra safety measure to ensure you have everything you need to get home and still have a blast, should your important cards or electronics go missing.
